Plan Your Topics For Writing a Blog With Few Questions In Mind

Well, so you are off to writing a blog for yourself and your readers, by now you might have well even decided on the topic you are going to write about. Some might have got hiccups while I said about deciding on your topic, if that is the scenario with you I think you should be first learning the basics of blogging business. Blogging is meant strictly for Plan your topics with few questions in mindwriters whether born writers or trained writers, if you are not good at written notes then you stand no where in the world of blogs network. Choosing a topic for your blogs is as much important as catering to child’s need, unless you feed nutritive food to your child there is no growth, similarly, for blogs you have to select a topic which belongs to user’s arena, the topics they might be interested into or the topics they might gain some knowledge from.

The blog site is just not a site which you design and leave it and expect to get good returns, you have to build a niche for yourself, through which your users will understand your language well. Know the things that your readers would love listening to; bring new insights in your virtual talks with them. To get you started I have few questions in mind you should be asking yourself before starting your blog:

  1. Know who your readers are? What they are looking for? What they want to read from you? What opinions they have regarding a particular issue?
  2. Decide the purpose of your writing, what you want to gain out of it? What type of topics are you going to write?
  3. How you want to convince your readers into agreeing something? How are you going to bring up examples to make them understand something?
  4. How are you going to bring something in FOCUS for your readers? What points will best convince them of your writings? What details are you going to get for them?

In my experiences I have found that most effective writings centre on a one particular point that makes reading interesting. The details that you are mentioning should always revolve around on that particular point. Decide on one central theme for your stories or descriptions or experiences or researches in your blogs. Focus on what readers want to listen from you and remember the questions I just mentioned above while writing an article. This will ensure that you have targeted readers in your kitty who enjoy reading your blogs.

A Typical Day In Bloggers Life!

Do you think the life of bloggers is as much easy like that of a child only because we are writing blogs sitting at the comfort of home, think again, sitting back at home means we do double the work. It’s been now years I have been continuously blogging without a single break and I do need a break, I feel like breaking down somewhere and that is you whom I can talk to. Working full time as a blogger is not an easy task; there is so much that goes on to writing a perfect blog that will attract attention. I have blogged about various topics and events in life, do you think that comes easy to anyone, sitting to write a blog I should be having perfect information, the actual facts which I can tell people.

bloggers lifeA typical day begins right in the morning at 6:00 am sharp, I have always advised my readers whether they are blogging part time or full time to write the blogs with fresh minds and what better time than mornings! In the back of my mind when I am watching TV at night, I continuously think over the topics which I want to write about and gather information at first hand so that my audience would be interested in my blogs. It’s just not about earning money, for passionate bloggers, they wont leave a minute details describing everything that they know and help you picturise the actual facts of the things. That is how a real blogger is with all the details in his/her kitty they will never fail to give you knowledge of everything that they know.

We spend even double the time you might be spending in front of your notebook. I know what it takes to be eye candy in people’s eye, you have to show your worth otherwise you are no where in the market of this utter competition. Most of the times, I research about the topics and come out with superior stuff I could share with my reader and sponsors always want to reach out to the maximum people I can and hosting a site is after all not free, optimizing it, maintaining it and put regular replies, you have to be awake with 4 open eyes to be at the top slots.

I remember, the days of my anxieties and till today I feel the same thrills putting up any new topic thinking over the response that I would get, the comments people would put in or some sponsor knocking in, etc. we bloggers have a time table of each day and each week, the topics that we write, maintain a to-do for a blog, what we are going to write in it and also write scheduled posts if time permits -  this is at least of what I follow religiously as a blogger and I feel every blogger should have planned things to be successful in life.

As a blogger, I have not found a single day in which I was not working, things came up and I had sat for writing, not out of compulsion but my passion drove me to start working almost anywhere, any time in whatever condition. But telling you the fact, I am very happy about the way it is going, I am happy that I have come to this position today because of my struggles and the strict rules that I follow. Writing scheduled posts gives me good kick as these are going to save me when I am out for some work, your blog have to have fresh content every 2 days or max a week’s time.

The life of a blogger has become a routine for me, like everyone else’s office duty this is my duty as I said. The biggest of all advantages is the flexible hours I can work through, remember some people have mood swings and so they cannot concentrate on their work, luckily I am saved from it even if I am not feeling good about something I make around when I am complete with fresh mind and fresh ideas.

You can share in your experiences or give tips or suggestions for my readers!

Effective Writing Skills – Pro Blogging Style Will Make You Successful

Each day hundreds and thousands of books are published world wide, some are written by well known authors and some are from the new struggling writers. I have seen many cases in which a writer is just a first time writer and his very first book  was a great success, what do you think, what separates them with other lots of writers who are struggling even after their 10th book? Is it writing skills or their individual talents? I feel it’s the combination of both, for how long we will keep talking about destiny and our so called luck factor. To make it to A-listers of writers, I feel an individual obviously needs a good set of skills plus a passion to write something unique, not copied from somewhere.

Successful PeopleLike other skills, even writing is one skill and you can expertise in it with writing practice, there were a few times where I was hung in the midst of writing for finding the words which I dint quite know at that time but my efforts and willingness to learn and then implement them in my writings made it a huge success. The people with natural talents, I give hats off to them but for new writers who are planning to make it big in writing as a author, I had advice not to give up till you drop! Meaning that you go on and on till the time you feel your resources are at the fullest. It doesn’t take much of the efforts to write, although it takes time to hone your skill set but practice will make you perfect as the time moves on.

There are many a strugglers in the world of blogging, even after trying their best they are not able to pull in audience into their networks, the reason, poor writing skills! Although for blogging, the written content is the criterion, I had still advice people to sharpen their skills in knowledge and then implement them in written words, once when you have knowledge you can somehow emerge in to creative stuff. Everybody makes mistakes; even big authors might have made mistakes in gulping down few grammatical words, so what! Does that stop them from publishing their books? Of course, NO, because they are well known writers and sometimes there are printing errors too.

Learning by itself is an ART; you can develop your writing skills in your own art factory where you can collect different books or learn more about grammar and than go on to sharpen your skill set, even born writers need to do some home work before heading out. I advice my young fellow writers to concentrate hard on what they are writing and please do not compare your work with other writers, as individual is born to be unique and so you cannot have same writings. Give your best shot and emerge yourself out from the self made mould that is obstructing you from achieving your targets.

Be in love with your writing so that whole day you keep writing and one day you shall emerge as an established writer of all times. Learn from your minor mistakes and become perfect in them and get set to conquer the world with your magical words, given below are some of the things I had like to advice you on improving your writing skills:

  1. Write fluently; don’t stop in the middle of your writing that might distract you from what you were writing naturally. You can edit your work later.
  2. Write whatever comes to your mind at first go, you never know that might be one of the tools that will take you to successful ladder.
  3. Make use of words that you find fancy, those might just be the words that can make you famous for your thoughts on that.
  4. Study the art of writing creatively.
  5. Comparison is the worst things you can do to yourself as writer that may ruin your whole career altogether, so stop comparing and write your inner thoughts.
  6. Invest more in physical books then internet reference material; enjoy the joys of holding your favorite book in a total isolation.
  7. You can highlight some famous quotes, some short story you found interesting in the reference books.

The first few pages you write might be a complete waste, but these are just a few obstacles for your journey to pleasant world of good writing so all the best and get going and remember no one is a born writer, develop that skill in yourself if you really want to be a WRITER, all the best!!!
