Every blogger and Webmaster these days is looking to increase his Google Adsense earnings. Recent trends show that the intext advertisements help you to earn extra bucks through the Websites and blogs and when it comes to the intext ads, the first thing that springs up in our minds is ‘Kontera’. It is the biggest intext advertisement provider and has companies like Ford and Microsoft in its list.

Kontera is a great way to make money but there is one problem – Kontera ad earnings are very low. Every Webmaster and blogger is complaining about this and some of them have even disabled Kontera because of this and I am writing this article to tell you how to increase Kontera earnings by making some small changes. Here are my two bits -

• Link colour : I always recommend to change the Kontera links colour. The default colour is blue and this might be successful for some people but I recommend changing this colour to the default colour of the Website links.
• Link density : If the articles are relatively bigger then I would advise you to contact Kontera directly for adjusting the link density accordingly.
• Using the keywords : The best parts of your Website should have the highest paying keywords because Kontera will give links to the keywords that are used most often.
• Filter the ads : If the blogs are showing ads of any particular company which isn’t related to your Website or blog, then you should ask Kontera to restrict these ads from these companies.
• Keyword Variet : Use different keywords. For instance, if you are writing about online games then instead of just online games, you should use ‘Facebook Games’ or ‘ibibo games’.

These tips are simple but are very powerful for increasing Kontera earnings.

Last month I blogged about how much one money one Health blog can make alone in 15 days without adsense. I am very much excited to share result of the same Health Blog for the month of October 2009. Only change made was I added Kontera Intext Advertising which made around $8600 with the past project which i started long ago. Out of my surprise this experiment was successful and once again i made good money with In-Text Advertising.

Last month i had set target of making around $2500 from this Blog & Finally ended up making $2641, which is huge achievement according to me. I have mentioned below the break up of income. Network wise along with the screen shot for each of them which will clear all the doubts in the minds of people who thought that one blog could not make $2500 in one month.

Kontera Technologies : $477

Burst Media : $475

Value Click Media : $1299

Ybarnt Digital Network : $390

All together Kontera made $477 apart from 1-2 days when there was some serious problem with the Hosting company. Kontera report approximate 350k Net Impressions for the month of October 2009. I was very much Excited to see additional $500 coming my way just by doing some normal changes on the blog to attract In-Text advertising in the eyes of my Health Blog readers.

For the very first time Burst Media Reporter over 2 Million Impressions with 957 Clicks. Out of 2 Million total Impressions 1.6 Million Impressions were Paid which made me really Excited this time. eCPM was also not that bad which supported me to make money in good way. So finally i was very happy with my decision of starting Burst Media advertising on my blog.

Value Click Media which was one my Favorite advertising network  made $1299 with almost 1.5 Million Impressions. I have kept all of their advertising Banner above fold across 5k Pages of my blog which is getting more then 15k to 20k Unique visitors on daily basis. If your sites have more then 2000 visitors on daily basis you can apply to Value Click Media or approach me i can get it approved for you guys.

Last but not least Ybrant Digital Network reported 1.6 Million Impressions with the revenue of $390. I was little disappointed with the eCPM & Cost per Click which i got & planning to replace this network with advertising.com from where i got offer last week.

I hope i can scale Higher next month with the same Health blog. Let’s see what happens ??

After Successful Experiment with Travel Niche, Finally i decided to Jump to Health Niche in the month of Feb 2009 & started General Health Blog. Earlier when i Blogged about it i showed all of you how much Kontera made out of those projects. While i was doing some planning in order to monetize General Health blog last month, Suddenly I got Email from Burst Media,  Ybrantdigital & Value Click Media Publisher services requesting me to become their Publisher. Now this situation was all together new for me so i did extensive research for all the Three Advertising companies for about 3-4 days & Finally i signed Publisher Agreement with both the companies. Now the situation was little tough for me since i had to take a decision to remove either Google Adsense out or Kontera Intext advertising, because as per the agreement i signed up with them, I was allowed to run total of 4 Advertising networks on my Blog. So finally with a Brave heart i decided to remove Google adsense as it was making around $5 to $7 on daily basis.

Finally on 17th of September 2009, Burst Media Banners were live on the Blog. In last 14 days Burst Media page views reached almost Half Million and out of my Imagination 350,000 views were Paid which means even though some one did not clicked on those Banners i Got paid. Total Earnings reached to $102.53 for the time span of 14 days. You can have a look at their stats and Graph below which is really Interesting one if you study it carefully.

I studied the Behavior of Burst Media Earnings for around 6 days & after that decided to Implement Ybrant Digital tags. I am so much Excited share with all of you that this Experiment of applying Ybrant Digital tags, Just 8 days of Implementation of their Tags made me $144.12 along with 239,000 Impressions. So finally i was happy that my decision of removing Google adsense from Health blog was actually good.

Before 2 days of making Ybrant Digital codes as an Experiment i made Value Click Media Tags live on the Blog, once again my luck was with me & i made around $166 with 200k Impressions & Average 4% CTR on the ads shown by Value Click Media. Now Once again i was so much excited when month was over & internally i was praising my self that sometimes you experiment things it always gives you some result $$ wise.

To conclude one should do continuous Experiment in order to learn new things & make more money. Just by doing some adjustments on the Blog i made around $412 in just 15 Days. What are your plans ?? Keep your questions coming and i would be more then Glad to support all of you as much as i can.

Today while i was checking my Email early morning after completing my meditation, i got his Email with the Screen shot of Google Adsense check which he received after hard work of around 4-5 months, I was also surprised looking at the check which carries very HIGH value according to Indian economy. I could actually feel his excitement while reading the Email & i can not Explain you guys how happy he was that he personally called me all the way from India to thank & offered me his entire first earnings which is some where near to $550 to $600, at that time i was feeling so proud that i helped some one to become independent & told him that this is the result of his hard work & i Just did my job by guiding him how to make money online, finally i hung up the call by congratulating him & also gave him inspiration not to loose the focus as he has skills to make more money online using Kontera as well.
