RSS feed is quite an important part of your blog. It helps you to update your prospects and readers about the valuable information which you give in your blog. Initially it is a bit tough to convince people to subscribe to your blog and make them come again to your blog, but once you start writing quality articles and making people aware about your blog it is not that difficult.

Here are few tips which will help you increase your RSS feed subscribers:

  • Place:

The most important aspect of RSS feed is that the RSS feed is that it should be located at a proper place in your blog, so that it can be noticed by all the visitors. You can use some phrase for subscription like: “Subscribe to RSS feed”. This phrase along with the link you can place either above or below the post which will make sure the person reading through your post can see the RSS feed, if he likes your writing style or topic he might subscribe to the blog immediately. RSS feed Icon should be placed at the top of right side and should be visible on all the pages of your blog. This helps to locate the feed easily.

Your RSS feed icon should be big enough so that all visitors can locate it easily. You can select whatever color you want but usually traditional bright orange color is the one

If you have different categories on your blog, use different feed for each and every category. All visitors have specific interest, so they might not be interested in all the categories on which you write, keeping that in mind; you should offer them to subscribe to individual category of their interest. This will help you also to increase RSS feed numbers.

Give your visitor an option of getting your articles through email. Many people don’t use RSS readers and still love to read mails, so it is better to give an option of Email Subscription to your visitors. You can promote RSS readers and finally it will increase your subscribers also. If you have few visitors who haven’t confirmed the subscription, then send them a gentle reminder mail about the confirmation of subscription. When we start searching for how to build links for a website, we get lots of boulevard that we can follow. Some of them show effective results, some don’t. After lots of hit and trial method, I found the way to build high quality links for a website.

Here are few link building tips for a website:

  1. Prefer quality over quantity of links:

It is always better to have quality links instead of quantity links. There are many attractive pitches over the net which will tell you like “get thousands of links to your site”. These are generally bad quality of links. Don’t go for that and as far as possible, try getting the quality links rather than quantity links.

  2. Connect to forums:

Try to utilize blog and forums effectively. It will help to build nice link for your website. Forums generally are best way to attract visitors for your site. Go to the most popular forums and try to get involved in a discussion in that forum and leave a link to your site below your discussion, this will help you out in building the links.

  3. Learn from competitors:

Try to know your competitor’s strategy  like which media they are using for online publicity? , which web directories are linked to their site? And so on. These facts can help you to build link for your website. You can use search engines for research. For example using Google you can find about who all are linked to your competitor’s site and you can start using those sites for link building. In Google you can use “site: www.xyz.com” and it will show you the entire sites on which the “xyz.com” is listed, this is one way of building the links.

  4. Know the page you want to link:

Few points you must ask before you link to any page.

    1. Is the page is indexed in search engines?
    2. Does page have “no follow”? If page have no follow then it won’t allow passing link to your page. You can find it out by pressing Ctrl+U in Firefox. If it shows CONTENT=”INDEX, NO FOLLOW”. Then it’s not worth to try for building link on that page.
    3. Web directories: Web directories will help you to create high quality links. For example you can use Yahoo directory for link building. You have to pay fees to register with them. But they are worth using.
  5. Email request:

Send a personalized email request to the website owner saying “I would like to exchange my website link with you”. You can get lots of samples on internet on “how to write link building Emails”. I generally keep all the information about the email sent, it includes URL, Person’s name, submission dates etc. Be polite while you send the Email request and don’t forget to follow up.

  6. Your website information:

When you are building link, don’t forget to give important information about your website. This will help the website owner to build link to your website.

  7. Old links are also very important:

You should make new links but old links also helps you to build foundation and help you to gain more trust.

  8. Consistency:

There should be consistency in increasing links on your website. Don’t think that if you have done enough to build links, you don’t have to work for more. Some links may get lost also. If you are successful, you should not be comfortable. You should have a thrust in building the links.

Building links is one of the most important factors for a successful SEO campaign. With the help of research and contacting other website owners in polite way can help you to build high quality of links which will help in generating a good ranking and huge traffic in the long term.

Before any type of business or individual can hope to see the sought after reactions to occur in any given situation they are hoping to achieve, there must first be a specific cause put into motion that will in turn cause the expected, and sometimes unexpected reaction to occur. This is a fact that holds true for many different types of situations we face in our daily lives.

High RanksWhen you are speaking of an online business website, the website owner must first initiate specific active causes before he will be able to take advantage of and see a positive reaction taking place. To do this, it can sometimes take a large amount of research and study so you can learn in advance some of the reactions that can be expected to occur from specific causes.

High levels of generated traffic is of prime importance to any online business, just as achieving a high ranking level on the most popular search engines that individuals are known to use when searching on the web. Many web masters find themselves in a circular cause and consequence situation when attacking this task. There are several active causes that must first be initiated before a positive goal or reaction can be reached. Knowing where exactly to begin, for many website owners, is equal to running head first into a brick wall. Building a high-ranking site that will generate an on-going flow of revenue is certainly not an achievement that can happen over night, and it usually takes a lot of time and tested patience.

To better be able to understand recent frustrations that seem to be developing on the web that many web masters are experiencing, think of how it is when you first enter into the job market. To secure a good job for the career path you choose, a person must first have experience in that specific field before they are able to land a job in that line of work. Likewise, to ever be able to gain experience, you need a job in order to achieve this. This is exactly what circular cause and consequence means, and it is a situation that can prove to hold a frustrating dilemma for many people in both the real world and online.

As cyberspace gets bigger and bigger, it is already noticeable that search results found on many search engines such as Google are becoming known for providing users with advanced searches that list only the most popular sites that are branded and who already enjoy large volumes of traffic due to SEO tactics and exposure. Sure the user benefits, but it often results in a no-win situation when it comes to the small business sites that are just starting out.

Google has recently decided to do a major cleanup throughout their search engine, which means a removal of many affiliate pages, paid links, etc., and it also means that manually ranking sites will slowly become a thing of the past. This could be disastrous to any entrepreneur who would like to establish a name for themselves online. If you have not yet noticed the boost in branded sites on search results, you can bet that it will not be long before you do. Because of this, it is very important for website owners to take the initiative now to gain popularity and build traffic through SEO optimized sites that are appealing and contain informative content. Sure you may be able to reel in a certain amount of traffic by using social media tactics and solid marketing techniques, but later on down the line it is not going to be so easy. It will also be much more expensive. Earning your nest egg on the Internet is soon going to be much harder to achieve than it has been in the past, especially when your plan is to enjoy a site with high rankings. Those who miss the warning of building a solid brand now are going to miss the boat when it comes to the amount of success they can expect to earn in the future.

Let your site grow right along with the growing changes of the web and take advantage of building exposure through many of the search engines that numerous individuals commonly use to find products and services to fit their needs. Link building and on-page optimization are both great sources that can help you build productive sites that will generate large amounts of revenue that will continue to flow for a long time to come. More than ever, a high rank with the search engines should be in the forefront of your mind if you plan to secure your spot in the overwhelming job market online.

As Content is the King in the world of blogs writing, you can well put all your resources and energies in toSEO Blogging Tips writing creative blog which are informative and innovative too. Its not the quantity that counts but quality of the topics you are writing on. If your content is quality contained then you are surely going to attract readers in to your blogs and it might happen they may pass on your link for other readers to read your blogs, this could be one of the best advantages for you for your SEO rankings.
  2. Search engine optimization is all about key words, you should be able to anticipate the type of words people would be searching for, over the Net for information, once you get a hang of it you can write content based on those keywords and you can simply attract the attention of the readers.  Using words which are often searched over search engines leads to top ranking of your site.
  3. Titles are of great importance when you are being searched over the net, make sure that you put your title in the “title tags” on the back end of the blog this is very important from SEO point of view. If you are writing your blog from an SEO point of view then try not to include the blog name with your title tags as there is every possibility of your keywords being diluted. Remember that the words you use at the start of your article carries more weight than the words mentioned later in the profile.
  4. Once you are done identifying the important key words, try using them in your posts. If you want a good google ranking for your terms and phrases then you need to use them in your blogs. You can even use the words in sub headings by using h tags. Don’t go over bored that people will get bored reading out of the topic post, so write whatever comes naturally to your mind.
  5. For increasing your blog ranking you can put links from other sites, and also put links of your blog both are fruitful as interlinking will help readers to share information and it is surely going to give you a good search engine optimization ranking. You can also try linking to key posts on your blog from other places on the blog like front pages, side bar, etc.
  6. Doing an SEO for your site is of great advantage and putting links from other sites gives you good results in SEO ranking. You can start linking to your blog from other sites which ever you are active member on, the social networking sites like twitter don’t count as much on anything as they have no follow tags so there are more chances for people to access your site and perhaps some might help you with SEO itself.

You don’t have to be obsessed for getting the links, if at all you need to become obsessed then get obsessed about how you can write great content for your site and once you are well with writing then links will follow and if you feel that the matter you wrote is relevant to other blogging sites you can write to them and they might well link you up with their blogging network.

Try thinking of the posts that will attract attention, as much that you get good offers from other sites to link up your site with theirs. There are many such websites offering you information on how to generate linkable content, you can develop your own technique and excel ahead.

  7. Generally, while writing blogs you don’t have anything on your mind except for the keywords and that you have to write super creative, attractive, interesting blog but what grabs my attention here is that if you are using wordpress then there are good chances here, with Plug-ins you can get very close to your target, it is surely going to help you with your SEO and grabbing the readers attention.
  8. This is a proven fact that magnets attract each other, similar is the case with Blogging and Readers, as you have more readers on your site there are more chances that it might attract even more readers there is some type of snowballing you can say, which happens over blogging sites, as your loyal readers like your content they may pass on the links to other readers in their network, then the new readers read your content, link to you, bookmark you, email about you to their friends, etc. so there are so many things which are not seen but are actually helping you become popular and that may indirectly help you for your SEO.

I want to discuss few more things relating to SEO, perhaps that I have helped you this much I can do even more so that you become perfect.

You don’t necessarily have to be an SEO master to do the SEO for your site, true knowledge about google tactics and right linking will help you surely win the match. Its been now 10 years I have been in a blogging business and had a great number of ups and downs as a professional blogger, sometimes you face criticism from people and sometimes they dearly like what you write, its all about perceptions you have to get them thinking the way you want to think them and that can happen through the content you write that is the real art of writing or blogging, you can say that! Google is not just into money making, they need the best of information for their users so that it can become more popular and I know they are pretty well in their jobs. As a professional blogger your main aim should be to provide the best and latest information for the users its not the quantity but quality that counts. When you are using keywords, make proper meaningful sentences so that readers can understand what you are trying to say.

Google might not use the whole data for ranking the sites, but they use some information to place your sites over their network, recently they are coming with some methodology which will let search engines generate data based on the content that is being shared over the networks and book marking sites. At the end my advice to readers is to create quality content using the best information you can collect on pertaining topics and join networks that will get you interacting so that you know what people are looking for, All the Best!
