I did make some good money with TLA before, unfortunately Google penalized me from PR2 to PR0 due to selling text link. I’m still curious how people make money from selling text link since most of the company want to advertise in high PR blog or website, but if you have a high PR blog or website to make money with TLA, then Google penalizes you and you will get PR0, then you’ll make no money or less money since you have only PR0.
How do you think Chris?

I hear what you’re saying, Lee. Google doesn’t like links being bought and sold and your PR will suffer if they catch you out…..what do you have to say, Chris?

That’s what I’m curious, I wonder why they still want to make money by selling text link since Google will penalize their PR and end up they can’t make money. Then how text link ads company survive?

Ok, I was all up for this until I read comments saying that your page rank will be penalized. How does Google know you are selling the links though?

My blog was PR 4 until Google yanked it because of TLA ads. Overall I wouldn’t have cared, since I was making money, but then the number of links dropped because I didn’t have PR, and when it got down to 1 I knew it was time to end my association with them. I still don’t have my PR, but it wasn’t giving me lots of traffic or money anyway.
