Number 1 is my favorite! I think as bloggers, most of us have those short spans, where we are most productive. Everyone has them at different times. I tend to have these productive spans at night — not sure why though.

I work a lot better in the morning also. I will start to be less productive later in the day. I don’t drink coffee because I think it tastes bad. I know I am weird. I was a big soda drinker and I have tone that down. Greg Ellison

I really like number 5. Even though you are a bit tired there are always energy to spend time reading others posts and comment on their blogs and because of this I always try to do this at the end of the day.

Hardest for me.. staying away from Social media sites.. Facebook, YouTube and now Twitter is sucking WAY too much of my time. They’re all in place to help market my sites, but they definitely distract at times.

The trick of working in 45 minute bursts is one that really worked well for me whilst I was studying and writing exams. I tend to keep at it longer during the normal course of my work, but I do feel that my performance actually noticably slumps when I pay no heed to time ticking away and try & work through.

I totally agree with you on the #1 point. I remembered that my secondary school teacher told me that human’s normal concentration time will be 45 minutes only, our brain is not functioning well after this. But normally I’ll be getting sleepy after reading a book for 15-30 minutes. lol! :P
