Learn Business Lessons From Obama
As a businessperson myself, I always had this idea to spread not just my business knowledge but also to get the knowledge of whatever little thing or an incident or a business talk show with business tycoon or a business idol I hear, I make a point to jot down the details in brief and get it across to my people, my readers and also get them working on weak areas in their businesses. Through this site, I think I am going to fulfill my long pending wish, and guess what I am going to give you lessons taught by our own President Mr. Barack Obama, the points are a brief summary from the author Barry Libert, it has all the details that he learned from studying Barack’s winning campaign. I hope the lessons given here, will surely let you achieve success in your business endeavors and bring you innovation, new business ideas and keep pumping your inner heart to get that go getter feeling in yourselves.
- Creating a unique online platform helps because it consumes less time and also saves the process of going through the same formalities again and again. We often, find businesses that frequently deal with each other going through the same processes everytime whether it’s a forum or an online chat or a conference. Obama’s website was a little different, it had a unified platform which required the user to register just once.

- Try to get your supporter to support you, in Obama’s campaign, the staffers asked and encouraged the crowds to get their friends to the event. This lead to huge built up masses there and there by helped wider popularity.
- Evaluate the mistakes you make and improve upon them next time, Obama spent $20million campaigning for Texas primary only to lose to Hillary, he dint shout at his people but asked to work upon their weaknesses.
- Its very necessary to stay focused when you are on your winning spree, Obama raised nearly $639 million for his campaign compared to almost half the McCain’s $335 million. The money raised was clearly overwhelming but sometimes it gives the feeling of over confidence so it is best to stay focused.
- Show your confidence in the things you are really confident about, like Obama said to his political director Patrick Gaspard that he (Obama) is a better director than his political director.
Different businesses may have different priorities and the work that is needed to get done, its only up to us how and when to execute it for the best performance. Like in Obama’s case, he had to campaign to win the elections, similarly, your business objective would be different, and you have to analyze it properly before moving on to final conclusion.

Nice points of view you have here. Thanks for this wonderful post!

Obama is not given enough credit. No President in history has been faced with so many challenges: two wars, terrible economy, high unemployment, deregulated industries, corporate/political greed, lost of prestige around the world, and personal hate. Now most of the media have been fair with him except of course Fox News. Their bias towards him mostly by those morning show kuckleheads, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and on occasions Bill O”Reilly no matter what he does they can’t find it in them to praise him. He gets $20 billion dollars to ensure people are not left out in the cold by BP and they read it as a power grab. Had George Bush done it they would hail it as him doing what’s best for the people. Then you get to their lame reason like it is unconstituional. As if Sarah Palin did a day in law school, our President taught constituional law!! I would trust him to know his responsibilities as President better than these wanna be Perry Masons. In the end, these people who hate OUR PRESIDENT will regret the day that they didn’t embrace this man of character and fortitude. He is the right man for this job and the only one who could have handled all these challenges and keep his head.
