I completely disagree.
First of all the link you receive doesn’t have an anchor text, instead it uses a title which passes less relevancy. I’d rather have an image link with alt text then the current solution.
Second of all it’s $10 a months for a pagerank 3 link, expensive in my opinion. Now you might say their pagerank will increase over time. I’d rather pay for a good link right away.
Third of all: Google knows these links are paid, they have people working there that can read. So these link won’t carry any SEO-value at all as soon as someone at Google finds this site.
Furthermore their SEO experience doesn’t impress me (only pagerank 3 but 213 links (according to linkdiagnosis.com) of which more then 80% is nofollow and only 3 links from a page with pagerank 4 and 4 link from a page with pagerank 3, the rest is pagerank 2 and under). They seem to focus on quantity instead of quality of links.
So if their SEO isn’t impressive, how much do you think their pagerank will rise over time?
I wouldn’t pay $2 a moths for it to be completely honest and I hope it’s not your own site

I still to blog commenting and forum discussion for the moment. I dont really believe in paying for links.
I have a couple of links from Reuters, before they changed the comment system. I guess I am quite luck to get a couple of links from a PR8 site.

I thought paying for links will run the risk of getting your own website devalued?
Anyway, I never tried paying for links. I have been building my own links with good quality PR and anchor text. So I would rather get someone to build links for me rather than paying for links. Of course getting someone to do that will cost more and will need to find a trustworthy service.
