Good point is that you may find some good folks who follow you at random who you may want to get to know better. I’m sure that’s happened with me following back someone who first followed me……still…great tips to get more followers.

What troubles me most in twitter are the marketers and the people who tweet only about Twitter …I mean…c’mon I’m on Twitter I don’t want to read about it! That’s like watching tv shows about tv or reading newspapers about the newspaper …huh..anyways..great post.

One more thing can be done to get more followers….Why not follow lots and then periodically unfollow those who don’t follow you, an, all the while, posting valuable, interesting tidbits that people who share your interests should like. What do you say?

Got to agree with everything you have mentioned in your post. I just can’t tell you how much of battle I have been having with mass followers I have. I sometimes forget there is actually life outside the Internet. I am so involved in this stuff.

Good points. I guess I’m new enough to this that I’m finding some interesting followers who appear to be autofollowers. But your tips are great….will try to follow all of them. There is no doubt in this that large number of followers helps in making good money.
