Great points. I think any successful Internet advertising plan will also consider viral marketing. It’s relatively cost-effective to get it off the ground for possibly exponential exposure. There are a variety of tools available for pursuing this; sites like AdWido make it easy to promote a video and gain exposure easily.

First I love your tag cloud. I just wasted about 3 minutes watching it scroll by.

Advertising on my blogs has always had me scratching my head. I never seem to get much for clicks.

I get people that ask to buy advertising based on my content but when I pick the ads myself they never seem to pan out.

Even affiliate marketing within blog posts seems to work fine. It’s just the ad blocks I have on my side bars or above or below the posts.

I have taken most ad blocks down for now.
