The secret to ever lasting successful blog is to be BOLD, just hear it for now what I say and I will explain you later, why? In this overly congested blogging industry there are millions of bloggers worldwide each out doing the other one, why does one successful blogger stands at the top alone from the crowd, is it the content he writes? Or perhaps the traffic he is bringing to the site? No, may be because of the advertisements he gets? There are so many possibilities but what reason stands at the top is one characteristic that makes your blog so powerful, is it our very own BOLD character we are talking about? Well, I would say it’s true to the extent you guys understand what I am trying to portray here.
I have come across so many blogs and blogging networks and read few profiles of the blogger as to how they started off, and what is their secret to success, etc. I found out there is a particular way that impacts the reader and especially when you talk boldly it has deeper impact. The worst problem with bloggers today is that they are overly cautious about their dignity, respect and the content they write for their readers. Doesn’t it feel too artificial sometimes, the majority of you might agree to me with this fact on my hands, isn’t it? I just want to ask a simple question to these bloggers, why can’t they be just normal, in real life, no one is smooth, calm, non-aggressive person as they portray themselves on the blogs network. Every coin has 2 sides, and so does the human nature, one is the professional nature and one is emotional character at home.
The bloggers today use various modes to get interaction going with their readers, advertisers and their investors – some might ask interactive questions in the blog and some might ask for comments or suggestions. The present generation people are too smart; wont they make out the artificial talks if someone tries to be overly friendly with them to gain something instead why not be straight forward and show them what the real person you are. That will, I guess bring them closer to you and as they will discover that connection with you, your blog will automatically be popular. People always find emotional connection with the blogger if they can connect to you as a person and not as a blogger.
I want to be very clear of what I want to tell my readers, be bold in your writings and let them hear what is unexpected this way people would get more attracted towards your blog, uncommon brings you more cheers and happiness and that stands true to blogging industry. Some bloggers waste a lots of time in collecting the words that wouldn’t offend any readers, but what’s the point, instead why cant they be straight and bold and speak what’s there in their minds, after all, blogs are all about talks – what’s in and what’s out.
Even if you are bold in your talks, you can persuade your audience and make them agree to what you have to say. Willingness doesn’t just come by talking sweet but talking the truth, so be honest and give a damn to what they think and write boldly being wonderfully creative.
Did we just hear? oh no, its right, oh yes, advertisements are going to be the next kings in the blogging industry with great demand in tow, millions of publishers are advertising thousands of online ads to gain some profit margin, and why not its hardly takes any efforts other than to have a well read famous blogging networks. I hate talking about the age old media, as we are completely out of it now, who gives attention today to old age newspaper ads or magazines, hardly 1% of readers might be using them, its no wonder that Internet Media is growing and people are spending money to revamp their sites to get ads on them to earn good deal of money margin.
Blogging is a pure business today and business doesn’t grow on its own, it takes lots of advertising efforts and money power and the quality serving that makes you famous in your networks. Internet has evolved a long way from simple chitchatting or checking your mails to video conferencing and shooting thousands of mail at one time. There was a time when advertisements were just any mode of entertainment, people dint pay much attention to them but today with creative ads, animation, graphics, cool slogans, people are attracted towards them and watch them with keen interest. That’s all about print media, coming down to Internet media, the opportunities have increased as there is increasing publicity and the number of internet users are growing each day and we see people are logged on to internet almost 15 hours a day.
Advertisements have penetrated each industry in depth, whether its print media in newspapers, magazines or huge hoardings placed over buildings or hotels, it is present in each and every molecule of marketing. If its marketing we are talking about, advertisement follows and so does the money pours in to your business. Blogging is not very new to the industry as it might be seen, but its just that people are more aware of it now and taking it as a serious business, there are millions of such sites over Internet and as the publicity grows, you will automatically get big companies having their banners on your site so finally what drives your site is the money from advertisements.
Its one cycle, that advertisements keep generating in all the medias that we discover, its one of the strongest characteristics that is important to sponsor your site as well earn money. There was a time when people were learning Internet just to check few mails, today it is all about blogging and with ads pouring in, it has got wider publicity and ads publishers are spending huge sums to cast their banners on the most visited networks. Out of nowhere, there came a time, were some people were not very pleased with the idea of posting the ads on their site as it reduced their visitors because the ads which popped out disturbed their working process and the home page used to look like a clutter of ads spilt every where but with new methods and techniques and smart animation choices, it has just grown better by the day and with in-text advertising its become all the more easy and smart working.
In text advertising is no different from other modes of advertising, its just that the ad is hidden in a bubble which appears only when the users hovers over that particular word in the text and clicks over it so the people can just views its brief introduction in the bubble and if interested can click over it where they will be taken directly to the advertiser’s page. More and more people are getting used to this methods and its big hit for the companies wanting to put their ads, it’s a win-win situations for the site owners, advertisers and the readers.
All businesses revolve round just one common thing, one common aim that is to SELL – NO MATTER WHAT? If you are new to the business you might be just simply excited about the idea of setting up your own business unit but as time moves on you will understand the deeper perspective of what it takes to run a full fledged successful business unit. Big companies spend billions of dollars every year to advertise and market their products, are they crazy? Of course not, for the amount of profits they would be making from products sale would be much more than they actually spend in advertisements. We browse internet for any small thing we get confused about, if you want to buy groceries you order online, you want to play games – there are free games available, and so many different things you can do like networking, blogging, people find information on internet relating to studies, projects, research, etc. we log on because its free, there is not much amount of money we spend to get an internet connection.
Selling is part and parcel of any business and I often wonder how people market their products through online networking and blogging. Blogging is getting popular these days because it has become one platform for anyone to speak whether its good or bad, companies blog about their products while customers blog about their experiences, it helps to bond with each other and companies can understand their client needs more properly. It’s all in a talent of written words that people pull out their credit cards and buy products online. Today we are going to learn a few tips that will help you market your products on Internet more deliberately, use your spoken words as sword which will break the barrier and people will start buying your products.
The first and foremost things about blogging, is that you need to fully know about the product features, its uses and how better it is than rest of the products in markets. Don’t try to sell what you really don’t know about – I often keep giving this advice to young entrepreneurs, they want all the success in one day by putting forward everything they see but this doesn’t work if you want a real success in longer run. Sell only the things you know about and are confident about. Get your people interested in your products through sheer product selling and also if you rake up an agreement with similar type of company you can well get their customer’s list which will be beneficial to you. You know your customers and can target them.
Make a team of affiliates which will work for you, through this you can save loads of your valuable time and putting it in good use to do more product and market research. Don’t be very finicky about asking your customers the credit card numbers the very first time, let them browse the whole website, talk to your representatives, do proper product analyses and then decide on buying. The number of times the customer logs in your site will well let you know whether he is going to go for your product or no, so there are 99% chances, you can win their hearts by talking to them or giving them free offers.
Your website profile’s content and the way you write your product’s information is very important as this is the only one chance you can tell your buyers about the product and make their decisions firm in to buying your product. Your written words, are all it takes to take a yes or a no from your potential customers so make sure to know properly what you are writing. You don’t need to beg them in your writing but use words that will encourage them to use and buy your product, you can create the bond with the customer by talking a little about personal stuff that may ensure them to believe what you are saying and there are more chances that they might go for your product.
Internet has become a platform, where you can get free information for everything and anything you wish to get on planet earth. When you provide free information over your network to your readers and pay attention to their comments or suggestions they give, it will create a lasting bond. Writing kind words to let them know they are important also has its share in making them buy your product. In no way you should be forcing them to buy the product out of compulsion only because you want to complete your sales targets.
Letting your customers buy your products doesn’t come instantly, it’s a gradual process, let your customers become your loyal readers first and take them in to confidence and let them know about your important company policies, give them the best of products you can with good amount of services.
Small Business Marketing Followed By 2 E’s – Educate & Entertain!
We know that people like to get entertained and especially when it’s with regard to their product likings, today, the world has shrunk to the extent that we often keep on meeting the same people or come across similar type of products or ads in markets across the globe. What do we do to come out of the competition? Or make your products sell in the markets? The best is to follow the strict small business marketing rules of Educating your people and at the same time Entertaining them, people like to hear or see what is pleasing to their ears or rather something that would increase their knowledge about something, today creativity has grown to superb levels of innovation, the ads that I come across sometimes are just fabulous that I don’t have any words to describe them. They use such marketing concepts that people get glued to their TV sets, until the commercial gets over, whether you are doing telephonic marketing, distributing pamphlets or television marketing, it has lots to do with the way you present it and the concept behind what is shown.
Entertaining someone is not much a big deal, when it’s with regard to some product, you have to come up with innovative ways that will ensure that it goes right inside the people’s brain, so next time they are out purchasing they will remember your pleasant entertaining advertisement in the television they show last night. The concept of Educating people through marketing campaigns is new and still catching up with multinationals across the globe and are I am very sure it is going to be an instant hit with people. Today, people are hungry for knowledge; the more they get, the more hunger they become, the cycle is endless so you have to keep on making new food items on daily basis.
You can run a research check in community circles about the people’s likes and dislikes and then later you can decide on what characters you want in your advertisements. Is it the cartoons they like showcasing the products, or role models, or ramp models? It’s up to people who will decide the success of your ad campaigns. If you think, creating an entertaining ad is difficult think again, if you have resource, talent and right knowledge, go ahead, you are going to be successful; there are no 2 sides to this. While you create entertaining ads take note that the entertaining factor doesn’t overpower the actual promotion of the product you want to market, it’s not the amount of money you invest in making ads, it’s the concept that people should instantly catch up with.
Go through newspapers, magazines, international papers, etc. to get a brief idea about what’s hot in the field of advertising, apply it to your campaigns but make it unique and clear. The listener should instantly know of the product you are talking about. You can put in your queries or suggestions for me or my readers, I need you to speak on my blog.
