I would feel safe to say that if you took the time to browse through 5 separate websites on the Internet, you would be able to locate at least one error in most, if not every single one of the sites you visited. It is literally unbelievable how many writer’s websites I have ran across over the years that claim to offer potential clients professional, knowledgeable, and unique content for a client’s business website, yet the content that was published on their own site had an endless amount of typos, grammatical and spelling errors. It can often make a person stop and wonder if the correct usage of words, question marks, and commas was completely changed during the night, and they were simply not aware of the fact.
It is not that I am picking on Freelance Writers, this just happens to be one example of Unprofessional material that I have seen, day in and day out, on an endless number of websites that I have landed on. I realize that this may sound like a petty issue to some people, but when you stop and think about the fact that I am talking about website masters that claim to offer high quality and professional work, the problem runs much deeper than mere pettiness.
Why Are Errors Found On Websites So Upsetting?
There are countless times that various individuals will end up spending a large amount of their time and effort in trying to locate a professional firm that can provide them with a specific type of service or product. However, when a slew of errors are found in the heading and in the content of the specific website they are viewing, more often than not, the person will generally begin to question just how much quality really will be provided in their services after all. If a business does not have the commitment, the time, or the consideration to make sure that their company website is published before the public in a professional manner, then why in the world would a person believe that they would take the time to provide commitment in the services they are offering?
Do Not Bother With Excuses
Ok, so not everyone on the Internet is an error proof expert with grammar or spelling, and I will be the first to tell you that I am certainly not. This is simply not a good excuse! There are a ton of people that would be more than happy to help website owners by proofreading the content they plan to place on their site. A family member or one of your buddies can be a good place to start. If this is not an option, then you could hire one of the numerous Freelance Writers that can easily be found online. There are a wide variety of sites that offer high quality content and other writing services, at very reasonable prices.
The business site that you end up publishing on the Internet has the chance of being viewed by millions of people. This is why it is very important to make a good first impression, especially if a successful site is your main goal!
How to increase credibility of your Blog?
1.You Headlines should be relevant to your content:
Bloggers to bring traffic to their blogs make use of key word rich headline which is irrelevant to their content. Dont show your idioticness, by doing this your reader may click to your link but will not probably like to return back to your blog as you are providing with irrelevant informations according to the headline you are presenting with. Try to keep it simple and relevant. No need to act smart because it is going to prove disadvantageous.
2.Make your article easy to read:
Your article should be easy enough for the people to understand. The more complex you will make more difficult it is going to be for your readers to understand. You need not to be too serious on what you write, be friendly in expressing your views and know hows. This will give your article a new touch and will make it different and unique.
4. Your article should link paragraphs in an explicit way:
This is a technique which is need to be learnt. The articles containing paragraphs one after the other make your article boring. You have to be explicit while linking your article, like if you are writing an article try to signify that their is more to come by attaching expressions to it. You can even link your views. Look below for an example:
“I was struggling myself to put the things together when the problems were still adding on and there was no one to my help and I looked back and fainted (That’s not all)……”
5. Make your points easy for the scanners to find:
Most of what we write the scanners can take a know how of it. What they look is the meat of the post you are expressing. You have to make it easy for the scanner to approach the meat of your post. This you can do by making sub-headings, bulleted lists etc.
6. Be professional in your writing:
You have to show your audience that you are a professional writer. Your article even if it consists of humour, phrases or a friendly style of writing it should have a professional touch. You can do this by using a phrase or few big words or use of slang that will attract your readers to read your blog.
7. Signify when the article is can be stopped reading:
This is not easy as it seems. The readers never like to read the lengthy articles as no one wants to waste their time. They should get their answers before they reach they end of your article. You can also make use of a sub header for the conclusion of your article.
