Quit Blogging Industry
After years of blogging I am at that stand point from where I don’t plan to come back, I enjoy my work, I enjoy my blogging, and I just love interacting with my readers. You can say blogging was always my passion, while I have seen some people disappear from networks suddenly, what is killing them? I think, may be due to high expectations of earning money, not getting expected response, or simply were they here for some time pass? There are so many things today people can take to like videocasting, lifestreaming, social messaging, networking, etc. the list is just endless, Internet and search engines have opened up great avenues for us and vast field of knowledge and entertainment.
Till recently, everything was fine when suddenly I started getting emails from my networks of friend whether they should quit blogging and take up some other serious job, I thought for a while, was that a joke, they have been doing all this time? Well some might say no, whatever it may be but that question digged deeper in my heart and that is why I have come up with this blog today, for all the people who have had great misconceptions about blogging industry, I had advice you:
- To stick to your blogging for its your passion and there are ups and downs, but you need not fear.
- Certainly blogging is not dead, its an evolving concept, thousands of people are getting hooked to it each day for making money, should you be left out?
- Evolve yourself out of your daily routine, like reading other’s blogs, getting ideas, interacting with users, etc.
- By useful to someone through your blogs, make needs meet and solve people’s problem by showing some sympathy and giving helping hand by supporting someone in their cause.
- Producing content is your mantra, excel ahead in that. Its just not networking and book marking, millions of people search web each day for content.
- Experiment different mediums for your blogging, you can use best of abilities to achieve your targets by hook or by crook by gathering people over your blogs.
- People often jump around different mediums and at the end they achieve nothing to call of their own, I want you to build your home base which you can call your own.
- Build a brand of your own, mediums are not forever they will come and go, a successful entrepreneur is the one who thinks beyond the present that will last forever that is “Brand”.
- Don’t get too possessive about your blogs, be open to ideas or comments given by people on your blogs, have full RSS feeds on the site. You should know what you want to achieve and blend everything towards that direction.
- Success doesn’t come in just one day, so don’t abandon your blog if you don’t see any results, it’s an evolving process so let it take its own sweet time. You have given your best so you expect best results which will follow, build more creative contents, and evolve through it and leverage that is the best technique to follow for all the bloggers.
For some, blogging is just not the only profession, people from different industries are taking up blogging not just to make extra money but because they like this job and want to engage some of their time in talking to people, although they might not have full time to write, writing few blogs per week isn’t that big deal. I have few of my friends, some are in to medicine, some are engineers, doctors, etc. they feel that they being left behind, especially when there is so much happening over networks each day because they are partial bloggers they feel that its just hopeless to keep blogging, if you are facing this dilemma, no worries, stick to both of your profession, even when I am a professional blogger I don’t have much time on my hands to engage in what is latest in blogging technology, things will evolve and emerge each working day that doesn’t mean you should stop doing your work. Even I get such overwhelming feelings some times, but see today where I stand, I see beyond present, the best thing you should be thinking, is “that although you don’t follow latest things you at least know what is happening”, from my view point this is more than enough.
There are so many people rushing from one end to another, achieving nothing, is this their final goal? These are mostly the people who are diverted or distracted from their jobs and they are experimenting new things, its not wrong to take up new things but not always there should be some place at the last you can call your own, as I mentioned earlier, something that you can call your “homebase”, the industry which you belong to. I know, I have good hands on writing and I know I have the ability to pull in audience, so I am making maximum advantage of my talent. Lastly my advice to all is keep blogging, your niche is blogging, if you have started off, don’t let it stop in middle and “Blogging Is Not Dead”, for God’s sake keep that fear out of your minds.
Signature File Importance

The area that identifies you at the end of your forum posts and emails is your ‘Signature File.’ To use this to its fullest potential, you have to put some thought into it. The same consideration should be used on your signature lines as would be on your paid advertisements. This way it can really work at a high potential for you without wasting space. It is important to not attach your signature file to anything that will reflect negatively on your business. Thus make sure you post it on forums that are your actual message or advertisement. Email jokes that are not very appropriate should not carry your signature.
- Capture A Click – You need to make sure your signature file can interest your viewer. It needs to be clear and direct, and it needs to state the benefits of your program. Thus receiving a click.
- Little is Much – Short and Sweet is what is needed. If it is too long and drawn-out it will probably be ignored. If your signature file is too boring to read, attention will go elsewhere. No matter how many websites you have, only apply 1 or 2 URLs to a signature, otherwise it will take away from effectiveness.
- Keep It a Simple Signature – Never assume that your readers know as much as you do about your business. Do not talk jargon it may confuse them. Confused people will say “no” to your program. Stay clear and concise so anyone can read and understand how your product or service can help them. This is not the place for terms or conditions. Don’t go crazy with too many links and such. People outside your industry need to understand who and what you are and what you are selling. For instance, all people have skin, but not everyone knows what an epidermis is. Therefore, explain yourself briefly, clearly, completely, and interestingly.
- The Customer Snag – There are ways to catch the information of someone who visits your site after reading your signature file. Offering free things to collect information is a good idea. Things like a free newsletter or calendar of events or sales. They sign up and you have an avenue to keep contact with that potential customer.
It’s all in how you word it! When you do not see as big of a click-rate as you want, try rewording your signature file. For instance, just off I29, instead of 45 minutes up I29. This way of thinking and wording may save you from missing prime opportunities to get visitors to your site. The amount of effort you put in your paid add needs to be the same for your ‘perfect’ signature page.
Can The Smaller Niches Really Be Beneficial?

It is not hard to guess that the playing field the vast world of the Internet provides for a large number of online business owners is becoming quite a bit more competitive than it was just a few short years ago. As time has went on almost every single topic imaginable online has been entirely saturated by numerous online companies and entrepreneurs. Because of this fact it now takes a great deal more thought and effort to become popular with any type of new idea that you may decide to pursue. With an endless amount of individuals coming up with similar ideas, you will of course need a cutting edge advantage to become successful.
Although the playing field has changed somewhat there are still many areas online that allow online businesses and individuals to make money. However, to effectively begin an adventure that does not continuously mean a large amount of struggling on your part, you will need to zero your efforts in on specific subtopics. For example, this simply means instead of focusing on a top name in the shoe industry, you will notice more benefit if you will zero in on a particular type of shoe for children. In today’s competitive grounds it is simply much easier to attack a sub-niche than to try to target and compete with a top name in the entire industry.
3 Effective Ways To Segment A Specific Niche
- Geographic location – Just because you initially focus on one set geographical area does not mean that your focus cannot be extended to larger areas later on. There are many large name companies that started out with their focus on specific areas. As time went on and their success grew, that is when the area’s they focused on also grew.
- Topic – The Adwords Keyword Tool can be very helpful when you are trying to narrow the search on subtopics down to those that seem to hold the most interest with Internet users.
- Audience – Although most of us try to come up with creative content that reaches every single user of the Internet, it can be much more beneficial to try to gain the attention of a targeted audience.
In the explanations below you see exactly why using a sub-topic niche is a choice that can payoff in the long run.
You will stand out in the crowd
When you have selected a sub-topic niche that does not have the amount of competition that is found on larger topics, you are opening yourself up for more potential later on. The market that you target will be smaller in the beginning, but over time as you acquire a solid foundation and popularity, the market area that you can focus on with have no limit. Using this method is one that allows you to dominate the niche you have chosen much easier and much more successfully. It gives your business the opportunity to specialize in the topic of interest you have selected, which will generally mean a higher level of expertise. This is a factor that will stand out a great deal when it comes to prospective leads and long-term client relationships.
Higher conversions result from targeted audiences that are more defined
This is a tactic that can result in more interest for your products simply because you are focusing on attracting a targeted audience that has an interest in the product message you are delivering. This leads to a stronger following of clients and conversion rates that are higher.
Achieving future expansion is much easier
Focusing on a smaller target audience gives you the advantage of expanding to larger areas using a step-by-step basis. As your success and following build, you will then be able to implement the same tactics in other areas. Beginning small does not always mean your success will also be small.
