The most vital enemy you can have at your side in the Internet world is Downtime!! Downtime is simply the term used when your websites are inaccessible to the visitors for either shorter period or longer. There are also some of the top websites and Blogs I have seen that are now no more in the map of toppers, just because their host had either no time or no care of their websites being downtime for most of the time. Downtime is the most important feature of the down track of any of the website or Blog.

keep your blogs upperIf you are starting a business at your residence addresses and still you keep your residence and phone calls locked, then what’s the meaning of starting a business? Same way, if you are making a Blog for the people to read and when the traffic diverts towards you, or the visitors are surfing for the topic you do have, your website is acing the problem of downtime!! How can you survive? Downtime has so many losses. Let’s summarise some of them.

Downtime makes you losing visitors

The internet is the mode of media that is used majorly for saving time. People were quite feasible with the physical buying, but it was quite a lot time consuming. That’s why the Online business cam into existence. The moral of the entire Internet story is to save time. Now, if the visitor knocks the door of your website and you reply as “it’s a downtime, sorry!!”, then its waste to have such efforts of making Blog!!

Always treat the visitor as the most vital person. The entire business of your Blog is run by the visitors and till the time they are satisfied, you have ample chances of surviving. But if they feel unsatisfying, you have no future in the internet world. So, better you make your future secured and sound by keeping your antenna alerts for the visitors. Losing the visitors means losing the regular customers and ultimately losing the revenue. So, the motto of creating the websites is totally lost in the Downtime of net.

Still, you can hold the regular readers for some days to wait, but the fresh readers who tries to join you, can never be repeated again. So, you lose so many potential readers by these downtimes that are capable of creating your road to Glory!!

Downtime makes you losing Links

There are so many social links available on the internet. These socially driven sites dig the best possible Blogs. Now, if you are not available at those times, you are out of those digs and also out of the revenue makings. So, not only the individual visitors, the Downtime also pushes you in the huge loss of earning visitors and also the prospective subscribes.

These links are also important in the long run as your Blog can be graded by all such links and also it can be approached by various dealers and social sites, twitters etc. So, just one downtime is capable of making you down to more of the times.

Downtime makes you losing Advertisers

Advertising agencies also are the prime sources of earning on the internet. According to a survey, for the top sites, ad agencies are almost 25% or more of the revenue makers. So, they play a vital role in the online economy. The ad agencies try to approach those sites, which generates more traffic and also which exposes their ads most. But, if you are enriched (!) with the Downtime, you can never generate the traffic and henceforth no advertisers will approach you.

Advertisers also see the availability of the Blog online with the content quality and also the topics and digs. So, staying Downtime is the best way to ruin your business.

These are the prime losses of Downtime. So, don’t make your online business affected by the disease of Downtime.

Now, also let’s see briefly the ways to eliminate the Downtime problem.

Get the assured and proper host whom you can rely on. The network that has the best results should be approached.

You can have the automatic mirroring facility to avoid the heavy load of traffic on the website. Heavy loads of traffic should be adjusted with the most appropriate and efficient system to avoid Downtime.

Get the backups of the contents to save the database and to avoid the further problems of losing data.

Successfully Pitching Bloggers

It’s been now a really long time I am into the world of blogging, I myself don’t remember when I started, perhaps at a very young age I had this vision of reaching out to the great entrepreneurs, talk to them and discuss ideas. Since last 2 years or so I have been pitching about my business ideas to big successful entrepreneurs and journalists, some of them did come to my rescue while others having busy lifestyle actually had NO reason to listen to me after all their business is much more important than mine. Still with one motto in mind I had been out contacting them, phoning them, emailing, etc. I did get a lot of response too which made me feel I am worthy of it and finally that I was successful in my work.

successful Pitching

Sometimes I just think over the days when I started off, there were times when I was ignored and there were even times when I got messages which I was looking for. I got stuck with an idea of writing then, writings about successful pitches which differed far away than those which dint make any difference! Well, here is what I found out –

We have often come across successful individuals, who talk less but do more as the saying goes, “Action speaks louder than words”, I often think how successful entrepreneurs carry on with so many things at one go, then I got the answer its all about actions that matters. One of the main reasons of successful pitching was keeping it short and sweet, in our fast paced life no one has time to read long emails, letting all the details in just few short paragraphs helps as they are simple to read and up to the mark. You can share with the entrepreneurs the essential details what you want to put across without letting it look like an essay, we know that people are busy so make comfortable reading for them by putting lesser words and more meaning to it. And if by reading simple details that impresses them, they are surely going to mail you back for more details, isn’t it fair?

No matter how much ever big the enterprise, they will need people at your positions to work for them, you can state in your mails, easy agreements through which they can hire you for your talents, I have seen pitching does helps in this, as here you will state your qualifications and past achievements. Reach out and let them know of your qualities and you will get quick response if they are interested.

It’s very important to state a clear message in your headlines, this is the line that can impress someone to read further or simply delete without proceeding ahead. Write specific thing in your headlines; put your message across in few words. I know for small entrepreneurs, achieving the above stuff might not be as simple and easy, I have myself experienced some instances in which I have sent same mails to two different entrepreneurs, but got ignored by one, its all about individual perceptions too, that matters most of the time and the way you present yourself to the companies.

So take note of the above mentioned points and remember to follow the KISS rule that is “Keep It Short and Simple”, perhaps these might remind you every time you sit for pitching, All the best!!!
