twitter-buttonsIf I could, I would spend many hours each day working on my Twitter account. But, since I also have a life, I need to take care of other things too. How do you pull away from Twitter so as not to be distracted all day? I do not have to stop being working in Twitter, I just need to back off some so I can refresh and be more focused when I work on my Twitter account.  You do not have to completely break off from Twitter. Just shut it down for a short time and get some other work done.

  • Closing Twitter Applications
Close out your desktop clients, mobile applications or regular web applications like Twitter search. Several of these applications distract you by giving browser alerts, or Tweeter notifications. It is difficult to ignore these alerts. When you have the time to focus on your Twitter account, turn them back on. It is best to twitter when you have the time to concentrate and focus on what you are doing. Don’t worry about closing these down, they will still be available at the time of your choice.
  • Redirect Your Email Alerts From Twitter
Your e-mail box can quickly fill up even if you are using Twitter by itself, or a Twitter application such as Topify to forward messages to your inbox. Set up a folder for these personal and professional Twitter messages and you will be able to locate them quickly and respond if necessary. You will feel much more in control. In addition you will be more in control when you do your Twitter maintenance. All your Twitter emails will be sorted into the folders you set up, making it easier to locate and respond to the more important ones.
  • For Direct Messages, Limit Use Of Mobile Twitter
Turn off your Twitter applications such as Twitterberry or Twitdrod (mobile link) for an hour or so. Change your mobile Twitter settings to only receive direct messages on your cell phone. To send text messages requests into Twitter to receive the most recent updates for a particular user, for example, use your computer and not your cell phone. Some states do not allow cell phone use while driving. The text message alert on your cell phone is distracting and difficult to ignore. Limiting the use of Twitter for a short time throughout the day improves your time usage and allows you to compartmentalize your time so you can be an effective blogger.
  • Updates Can Be Auto Posted
To appear as an active Twitter, use options like the one available by Sendible for auto-posting. Adding feeds to update through Twitter will allow you to appear active also. These will allow you to disconnect from Twitter physically and mentally so you can conduct other business and refresh your mind.Using a service such as Twitterfeed, you can set RSS feeds to auto-post to your Twitter. Choose a RSS feed that contains topics that you are interested in and can help your brand. Set the RSS feeds to auto-post to your Twitter as often as you request. To make it more personal, try Sendible which allows you to create a message along with the date, time, repetitive behavior and frequency to Tweet.
  • Auto post some updates.
It’s like having a Twitter clone. Whether you’ve added feeds to update through Twitter, or you’ve signed up for an auto-posting option such as the one offered by Sendible, there are plenty of ways in which you can physically and mentally disconnect from Twitter without your presence being removed from the microblogging platform. Others will still receive your tweets and see your online Twitter activity, even if you aren’t actively tweeting.
  • Shut Down The Twitter Tab
Professional bloggers and business developers use Twitter as a primary means of communication. Otherwise, when you get distracted, just disconnect from Twitter. Once you’ve given your mind time to relax, you can reconnect with Twitter and be much more alert and focused.

Sincerity In Your Blogging

Remaining sincere while working in a world full of individuals who are only concerned about self gain, are often factors that make it much harder to become a successful blogger, and remain sincere all the while. Anyone that wants to be a successful blogger must be sincere and be aware of the people’s needs and desires. Four major points will show how powerful sincerity is.

  • Commenting – Spam, everyone knows what it looks like. It is irritating and full of links and comments not related to your own site. Self-praising posts are signs of them not being sincere. A sincere comment will explain what they like or do not like. Some comments are only for increasing their reputation for SEO or with other backlinks. It may also include a “pay per click” link. A sincere comment takes a real effort to contribute to the article with a positive slant or a negative slant. A negative comment can contribute to the article by pointing out points that you may not have considered. It does not matter what you write as long as you care about the subject matter, are sincere, and it is written in a manner easily understood.
  • Collaborating – A lot of emails sent to me or other bloggers request that we add a link to their web site. This type of comment does not take any thought or intelligence to write. There is no personalization in this type of comment. When bloggers collaborate it is because they have something to contribute to each other’s blog. The next time you communicate with a blogger, use their name, explain what you want and the reason behind your request. The bloggers want to know how it would be beneficial to them and you. Do not use too much flattery. That sounds like you are trying to “butter them up”. Remember, your previous work will be looked at and evaluated. You want to work with someone that likes your work and believes that you have something to contribute.
  • Writing – It can be very hard to keep up with daily posts, time spent for blogging and living your life. Always remember to give your readers a sincere and true attempt at what is contained in your post. It is dishonest to cram in an article or post just to be posting. Take your time and carefully form your opinion and thoughts and then express them in an appropriate manner.
  • Designing – Your design or layout will reflect your honesty or sincerity. Do not hide your links, overload your page with advertising or disguise your affiliate products. Readers want to receive valuable information from your site and do not want to be confused with advertising or hidden links. Advertising is a way to increase revenue, just keep it to a reasonable amount so the reader does not get lost or confused. Offer a clean layout that allows readers to enjoy the work that you put into the site.

Remember the things you should not do, but do not forget the things that you should do. Review your work and evaluate it for readability, honesty and sincerity. This will create a community of bloggers that will continue to return for more information. As you leave comments worth following, it will bring more traffic to the blog.

When one is writing a novel, blog or any article matter there are certain rules that has to be followed. These rules if followed will make your blog attractive and worth reading which means inspiring people to visit your blog regularly.

1. Go through what you have written:

It is necessary and most important to revise the content that you have elaborated. No article or writing is perfect on the first go. It’s a well known fact which even the most experienced writers follow. Revising does not mean correcting your article, it means what more you can add or make amendments and changes to make it more exclusive and innovative. While revising you should check that if you could amend it in fewer words because no one likes to read lengthy articles. The first impression of audience of seeing a lengthy article is that it’s going to be borring and they probably skip the blog. Other thing to be kept in mind is that it should be explanatory enough and that too in understandable language. You should also keep this in mind that how can you make your article effective. You can make your article effective by kicking in some examples, this will help the reader in understanding things better.

2. Proofreading:

It’s checking of spelling or grammar mistakes which one make while writing an article. Thou its not simple but not difficult too. The articles which are first written always contain some or the other mistakes which are need to be corrected before posting it in your blog. If you post it without reading it and then finding mistakes and correcting it again and again is not going to prove beneficial to you, As this practice gives a bad impression and also sites loose their efficiency because of which your site experiences less traffic. Less traffic means big loss, your ability and credibility comes at stakes.

3. Presentation of An Article:

Article should be well elaborated containing the beginning, middle and the end. Your writing should have an attractful beginning in such a way that it should hold the reader. If your beginning is effective only then your article will set a good impression on you readers. The middle body of an article should contain an effective information, facts or anything interesting so that the reader does not find your article boring and last is the end of an article. The end should be such that a reader sets in a best impression so that your readers opt for your site first. End of an article should have conclusions in it. All this give your article a best presentation and kicks in more traffic.

4. Changes are necessary:

Sometimes making amendments and changes are necessary as events keep on happening and the world keeps on changing. You should not restrict your self on making changes as this is a process which is need to be followed. You should not feel disgusted in changing your content because every change makes your article effective then before.

5. Revise:

Revision is must. I am stressing on revision again as this is the main rule to be followed. You have to revise again and again till your article achieves perfection. This is the key to attract your readers.

Guidelines that can make you an upcomming blogger

Blogging have always been a part of my curriculum not because its a duty for me but its something which i am very passionate about. Blogging is something through which you can share your views with the audience and converse with them on the same. Before i personally started blogging i went through various upcomming blogs on how to write them and what will be that key factor through which i could make my blog attractive. If you read the blogs you will find that most blogs have bogus content which is mostly uneccessary to read, wasting much of our precious time. As I am learning side by side I thought why not i share those things with all of you which i have learnt and still learning on my journey on writting blogs.

blogging

1. Put a lock on showing your smartness:

First thing is that stop being smart because your smartness won’t be of any use to the readers, infact its going to make their job tougher than ever. Using slang, or funky language with words which are rare and hardly used while we are conversing in our day to day life makes your blog difficult for the readers to understand as a result they are going to run away and probably opt for another blog. If you want to use the big words use it on a specific content writing rather then blogging because blogging is meant for simple and easier conversation with the audience. They are going to love your blog if you would write it in a rather simple but yet elegant way and that you can do by systematical approach on people’s views. It’s also going to relieve much of your burden and plus its going to make your blog attractive enough to be read.

2. Be free to fire your views in your writting:

You have to be free enough to write your personal views on your blog as it will help the readers to swallow the things better. Using quotations and saying of great authors or any phrase will help your blog prosper because thou you are using simple language but the use of quotations will enter the elegant and profound words which will make your writing interesting and fascinating. You have to learn to fire you views in your writing.

3. Be merciless while editing:

One thing which i have noticed while reading blogs that even the best elaborated blogs writing with full of spectaculating ideas do not have a good aproach of people, reason being most of the writing is filled with too much of explanations which is not needed. Like this you are wasting your readers time who will not prefer reading you blogs again and will probably run way to the other. The informations should be to the point and for that be merciless while cutting down the extra content that you have stuffed in.

4. Make use of Doing Verbs:

Avoid using the helping verbs in your writings like is, was, were, instead make use of mighty verbs. This is the landmark of best writings ever written. Helping verbs should be used with the Mighty verbs when needed. The benefit of it is that its going to make your blog worth reading and interesting that people will love to read it rather than just flipping of the content.

5. Read the Blog before posting:

There is a very good technique to check what you have written is by reading your writing aloud. Its going to help you in making your views clear thou you will find it strange but it is something which is must. If you find that you are not able to make your points clear to yourself than you have written something which your readers will struggle through to understand. Such writing is as good as a trash. Make your views explanatory and less bothering for your readers. Learn to write the specific points neccessary in making your views clear.

6. Makes your self easy going:

Many of you would have read of using killer headlines in your blogs as it attracts the readers but its of no use if your content is not worth reading. Using such headlines will get the click but more important is the writting you have posted in your blog. Readers will possibly come back to your blog if your content is rich, elaborate and understandable enough for the audience. Be easy on writing headlines of a blog and give more stress on simple and decent writings.

Your Turn/ Your Way

By giving it go on sharing my reviews on writing a blog which i have discovered on my journey, I thought I may help the others too while i am analysing blogs myself. The art of writing is something which will go on from generation to generation, the thing is how will we make our blog exclusive enough for the readers to find it innovative and interesting. Now its your turn on how would you make your blog to make it innovative enough to attract the audience.
