Time management has become important thing of today’s fast paced lifestyle, if you don’t manage your time today then the time might manage you tomorrow and you will have to take every step of your life listening to what time says. The time stressed economy which we are going through have left no time for us to think of any thing leisurely at your own pace, you have to take quick decisions and come upon your own solutions in time. Don’t let time overtake your responsibilities and your rights, awaken today and go ahead with every thing the life has to offer without procrastination.
Lots been spoken about managing time, organizing your work but how many of us really take actions so that our life brings us more cheer by dong hard work and enjoying it too. Lets talk about Eva Gregory, the speaker and author of the feel good guide to prosperity, she has held workshops on the law of attraction in a person on various medias like teleconferences and on radio. She has been awarded international coach of the year for the year 2006. The last of what we heard from Eva was relating to “how to manifest what you want” in the month of 2009, today we are going to talk about managing time and Eva will share with us the topic secrets of managing time and not let time manage us.
If you have been wondering how your whole day has gone? Or your to-do list for the day has often been filled up with more items at the end of the day? Or do you feel very much stressed or overwhelmed each passing day? If the answer to the above questions is quite a been yes then you need to follow some time management course which will let you organize your daily routine work and not let you stressed at the end of the day. You might well wonder but even if I decide to go over the routine of time management, I don’t have enough time to do it, you can surely start it slowly and steadily and you will soon see you are used to it.
The very first thing to do is to examine all the components of life and you will determine or recognize that how these tasks of life are important and you will soon start taking steps. Just this one thing, you need to recognize what you want in life and if you see how much work is left behind you will surely start taking major steps to complete it, this in itself is very self empowering task that will enlighten you in getting things done. If you the task or projected is not completed on time you might feel the impact of it, what if its really not done on time, what are you going to answer to your boss? What will your clients speak about you, etc. you need to priories your work as per its important that will help you accomplish the tasks which are really urgent, don’t let go off the things that might sound simple they may take more time then you have thought of.
Next step is to determine till what extent you are determined to achieve your targets, is it sheer competition or your personal goals through which you to want to accomplish your objectives in life. You have to face the facts of life, some things are nearly next to impossible to avoid, you have to do them by hook or by crook whether it can be accomplished through personal inspiration or ordered by someone. You should think for yourself that are you really really inspired to achieve your target what you have set for yourself, the things that are uninspiring in life should be avoided, you might think that they are too much time consuming and stuff so you compromise by not doing that and concentrating on some easier tasks, but is this correct, some where or the other you have to face whether it is today or tomorrow and if you are at a senior position you might as well delegate the task to someone else, but in a way you are teaching your junior of how to go about perceiving the particular task so you satisfy yourself of getting the task done and teaching someone how to do it.
Last thing to do is to check your list if anything is remaining to achieving and suddenly you can stumble on one check list that would keep everything in place, just that one particular thing is done and everything would be done automatically, wow, isn’t it a great relief when your to-do list falls just half of what it really was. Lets take an example of cleaning up the house, you need to really take out time to organize your house, it can truly organize everything in house and next time you are searching for your towel it wouldn’t take 10 minutes to go to your bathroom. How about simplifying your daily routine tasks, you can cut short of your time in daily household chores just by organizing your household work and also prioritizing it in a very orderly manner. Cleaning a house and your wardrobe might sound shock for many but it is really helpful, you will see your life starts beginning to feel the zest. Okay let us start by cleaning the clutter in your garbage, you can take an entire day off just cleaning your kitchen, there are so many things in life that just goes unnoticed because you don’t take out enough time. If each day, you plan something to achieve, you will surely and are capable of achieving your task whether its going to consume one hour or five hours.
After cleaning your whole house you might well realized that you actually took less time then your pre decided time, and so much time is saved each day, you find your objects or clothes or stationery easily than wasting time searching for them. Each task sounds to be so simple to do, that you just love your newly organized house. You will remember each thing where you have kept them just in a couple of days and soon you are used to the habit of keeping them back in the position from where you picked up. You will also see how easily you could figure out what to buy when you want to go for shopping, so the next time you go for shopping you will never forget what you have forgotten.
The above stated is just an example, I took an example of your household work, there are so many things in life people want to achieve but something or the other comes up and they loose the track or loose interest, or loose that motivation to complete their task, but if you are strongly determined to achieve what you want you will surely take out time and dedicate maximum hours of the day achieving it. Make a to-do list today, and set your priorities in life which will make your work and daily routines simpler and faster, as you organize your life, so will everything of your life’s goals. Create a space for yourself, where you will solely be dedicated to your work and nothing else, no distractions, no parties, no discotheque will change your track of mind and you will see the results sooner and can develop time management skills.
