Quit Blogging Industry

After years of blogging I am at that stand point from where I don’t plan to come back, I enjoy my work, I enjoy my blogging, and I just love interacting with my readers. You can say blogging was always my passion, while I have seen some people disappear from networks suddenly, what is killing them? I think, may be due to high expectations of earning money, not getting expected response, or simply were they here for some time pass? There are so many things today people can take to like videocasting, lifestreaming, social messaging, networking, etc. the list is just endless, Internet and search engines have opened up great avenues for us and vast field of knowledge and entertainment.

Till recently, everything was fine when suddenly I started getting emails from my networks of friend whether they should quit blogging and take up some other serious job, I thought for a while,  was that a joke, they have been doing all this time? Well some might say no, whatever it may be but that question digged deeper in my heart and that is why I have come up with this blog today, for all the people who have had great misconceptions about blogging industry, I had advice you:quit blogging

  1. To stick to your blogging for its your passion and there are ups and downs, but you need not fear.
  2. Certainly blogging is not dead, its an evolving concept, thousands of people are getting hooked to it each day for making money, should you be left out?
  3. Evolve yourself out of your daily routine, like reading other’s blogs, getting ideas, interacting with users, etc.
  4. By useful to someone through your blogs, make needs meet and solve people’s problem by showing some sympathy and giving helping hand by supporting someone in their cause.
  5. Producing content is your mantra, excel ahead in that. Its just not networking and book marking, millions of people search web each day for content.
  6. Experiment different mediums for your blogging, you can use best of abilities to achieve your targets by hook or by crook by gathering people over your blogs.
  7. People often jump around different mediums and at the end they achieve nothing to call of their own, I want you to build your home base which you can call your own.
  8. Build a brand of your own, mediums are not forever they will come and go, a successful entrepreneur is the one who thinks beyond the present that will last forever that is “Brand”.
  9. Don’t get too possessive about your blogs, be open to ideas or comments given by people on your blogs, have full RSS feeds on the site. You should know what you want to achieve and blend everything towards that direction.
  10. Success doesn’t come in just one day, so don’t abandon your blog if you don’t see any results, it’s an evolving process so let it take its own sweet time. You have given your best so you expect best results which will follow, build more creative contents, and evolve through it and leverage that is the best technique to follow for all the bloggers.

For some, blogging is just not the only profession, people from different industries are taking up blogging not just to make extra money but because they like this job and want to engage some of their time in talking to people, although they might not have full time to write, writing few blogs per week isn’t that big deal. I have few of my friends, some are in to medicine, some are engineers, doctors, etc. they feel that they being left behind, especially when there is so much happening over networks each day because they are partial bloggers they feel that its just hopeless to keep blogging, if you are facing this dilemma, no worries, stick to both of your profession, even when I am a professional blogger I don’t have much time on my hands to engage in what is latest in blogging technology, things will evolve and emerge each working day that doesn’t mean you should stop doing your work. Even I get such overwhelming feelings some times, but see today where I stand, I see beyond present, the best thing you should be thinking, is “that although you don’t follow latest things you at least know what is happening”, from my view point this is more than enough.

There are so many people rushing from one end to another, achieving nothing, is this their final goal? These are mostly the people who are diverted or distracted from their jobs and they are experimenting new things, its not wrong to take up new things but not always there should be some place at the last you can call your own, as I mentioned earlier, something that you can call your “homebase”, the industry which you belong to. I know, I have good hands on writing and I know I have the ability to pull in audience, so I am making maximum advantage of my talent. Lastly my advice to all is keep blogging, your niche is blogging, if you have started off, don’t let it stop in middle and “Blogging Is Not Dead”, for God’s sake keep that fear out of your minds.

Blog Posts – Timely or Scheduled Posts?

Dig deeper in what posts you write, TIMELY OR SCHEDULED POSTS?

Writing blogs is no easy task as you need to be very perfect about the knowledge that you are writing and it should be capable of attracting the reader’s mind. Balancing between work life and blogging life is quite a challenge as you have to dedicate thoroughly to the time that you are writing blogs. Blogging is all about experiencing and the things that you have already experienced in your life which you are sharing with your friends and readers online. Pre-written and scheduled posts over the blogging networks are always a good choice as they are ready to be posted any time and there is no kind of urgency. In my career I have experienced the hiccups I got while writing some timely posts it nearly used to make me restless with so much of urgency and orders from upper management, although now I am my own boss but writing nearly takes some peaceful time it doesn’t happens instantly as we think.

If you want to keep your blogging network live and kicking then you have to push in fresh content each day, and if possible may be more than 1 blog per day that will make your readers interested in your content, what better option we have then getting scheduled posts and pre-written content that is so much of advantage. There are many ways in which you can take out time to write quality content just taking out few hours daily, even it means an hour or 2 make sure that you are solely dedicated and concentrating on what you are writing. Monday is the day I solely call a writing day, its that time of the week when my mind is free of all tensions of the office, I set out on writing in the mornings till late afternoons I dedicate almost like 4 to 5 hours just writing, mornings give me an added idea the points I don’t want to miss out on. You can do the same by trying to write in the mornings, set your inner goals of writing particular number of articles each day, set your targets of 3 daily and slowly increase as you get the hand of it, make sure to write meaty articles that will make your readers interested.

blog posts

As I said setting your targets just for one day helps throughout the week, pre written content is always helpful, I use the posts which I have written on Monday to post each day of the week that will give a fresh look to my posts daily. I post them as per the scheduled time that is just after midnight that will encourage early reading amongst the readers. Generally dedicating just one day per week is good so that later time of the week you are relaxed and you can better concentrate on other chores, as you start writing in the mornings you will get fresh ideas and wouldn’t get distracted. Its not just the content which I write on Mondays sets my time table to post during the whole week, sometimes in the middle of the week I do like to add some spicy comments or may be some article or links that will help others, you too can do the same that will encourage more people to come over your blogs. You can supplement your blog with Q&A, links, breaking news, reader discussion panels, other blogging networks, etc.

Most of the time we see on blogging networks, blogs are more time bound as per the given situation where one is going through something, may be an experience, or a lesson, or learning, etc. these are timely posts which do not require any pre written or scheduled posts, they are written on the spot. Some posts do require a peace time to be written where as some are such which instantly comes out and are one of the best, being aggressive is one feature you can vent out everything and people do take interest in reading the language you are writing, but never offend anyone please.

There are few blogs in which you can put suitably best combination of a timely posts as well as pre-written, it might sound like a weird thing some might put it as foolish but as per my experience I can state that it really depends on what type of blog you are raring to write and develop. Some blogs might attract more attention than others because the blog talks more on sensitive issue or may be a subject of national issue. Well, my intentions here are to put straight the “how to” of content writing I put the contents which are relevant, more specific and up to the mark most of the time you will see the scheduled posts which we write gives us an advantage where you don’t have time to put back some fresh content over the site. You can discuss with your readers about varied current issues pending, their take on some political event, or some celebrity death or anything.

Write the content which is very relevant to the topic you are writing on, don’t divert from your main topic, discuss the “tips” and “how to” always that will help your readers to gain knowledge and let them keep coming back to you to hear more of it. There are blogs which contain sensitive issue, take note to write them as solemnly as you could keep in mind not to offend anyone by name, caste, religion, creed or profession. You can put in some experiences, the things you feel about and moreover how you can contribute for a cause, this way you can win people’s heart not just for publicity but truly. I just want to state at the end of my writing, that there are no specific rules to write blogs, you have to be serious while writing it and take responsibility of your written text. Your blog is your own and you can do whatever you like on your blog, if you are a new breaker, then wreck it, write timely posts and post it over the sites and get spontaneous response.

Meditation! A perfect tool to achieve your life goals!

Some might well ask, does meditation really help in achieving their goals? The answer may well be yes and is cent percent a perfect method to aim your targets. The main function what matters here is concentration; if you concentrate well on your task then nothing ever can stop you from achieving your objectives in life. As is known and well said by Brandon that meditation is the best method one can put as a ritual in their daily lives to kick start a day and is a healthy morning routine which rejuvenates your body, mind and soul. Today we are going to talk about Jeff Belyea, he is a writer, artist and also the developer in Arts of Living course, he takes several types of seminars and hold a PhD in Communications, he has a certificate in hypnotherapy and is professional business and personal coach too.

meditationFor today’s discussion, Jeff is going to share some of his thoughts regarding meditation as a tool to achieve your goals. Take an example of a company where the senior management has come together in one board meeting, and vital decisions are to be taken regarding company’s stakes and other important things, the decisions taken in this meeting is going to entirely change the company’s image outside. So as the board member or chairperson opens up the discussion of agendas of the meeting, after a while there is a buzz in the room and everybody is engrossed in their own discussions, the chairperson makes a big loud announcement of paying attention but after a while again people are chattering in their own discussions, again the same thing happens, so this way it gets repeated again and again. You could well imagine, what is would be like sitting in silent room without uttering a word for nearly 2 to 3 hours, it sounds impossible, but such things need to be paid attention as important discussions are being made in board and that is going to give way to company’s output, unless people paid attention to it nothing would come as a output of the meeting, so it was nearly necessary to pay attention to what chairperson says.

Even if the person would not be chattering in the board meeting externally would it be possible to let go off the internal chatter which is going on in each person’s mind, lets take the case of VP of marketing who is continuously worried about his son who dropped out of college to pursue his true love for potteries, he is not able to concentrate on what the chairmen is saying, the general manager in charge of the whole team has his whole attention on young merchandiser who is continuously flirting with him, while this is all going on in everyone’s mind at the moment, the chairperson full of enthusiasm is rehearsing about his upcoming meetings with other companies and bankers.

When the time is here when all the great minds of the company needs to focus on, all individuals are focused on their own personal goals, may be this could well be the reason why we see people saying that we use only small percentage of our brains. Actually, when we are sitting in the board room or attending some funeral we are not in the present we think of something else mostly of the things we are worried about, why don’t we let go off the things behind what worries us, why don’t we look for the things of tomorrow and concentrate. We keep anticipating the future, but never take major steps to overcome them, each step in the right direction is a new awakening to excel in the field you are most expert in.

When the things like lack of concentration, or lack of motivation arise, the best way to opt for is through meditation, it is one of the finest methods known till now which will quiet your mind of all the worries you ever had in your life, it helps you to relax and rejuvenates you from daily hectic life. Mediation is essential for stress management, it has many advantages like it enhances your focusing capabilities, it does it clarity of mind and thought, it also helps to improve upon your listening skills. There are so many thing which we can learn through meditation, it is a conscious process which helps to build up mind’s capabilities as the time passes. It is through practicing meditation that you can clear your mind of all your internal chatters which are worrying you.

There are lots of organizations who held such meditation camps which helps their employees to come out of their stress filled life, the visionaries of big companies often think of the methods which are out of mind, they use a different source which will affect their employees more than any normal methods, they attend to intuitive needs, which is meditation. There are corporate planners who attend to meditation for opening up new vistas in life for their employees. Its not necessary for you to wear your saffron robe to be a master in meditation, just simple thoughts and thinking will help you achieve your goals in life, you can be a corporate executive and still adorn the hat of a yogi, meditation will bring a subtle yet clear change in your life, your thinking, the way you think of your spouse and almost anything around you. This is one powerful means which helps to improve and enhance an individual’s achievements in life and also their corporate life. You can sign up for any meditation camps, its not which company you are working for, or who is your leader in meditation camp, its you and your thinking that matters the most, so join today and make a difference to your life.

You can post your comments about the written words, and also let other people know about different meditation workshops or camps which are being held at different places.
