I expect as a client , every hosting provider should have the following

1. Best Security & Back up
Before some days, 2ip, a hosting company has been closed as they were attacked by hackers. Even they could not afford data back-up to their customers.

2. Best Technical 24*7 chat or phone support. More providers offer ticket system. Usually ticket system not working well for urgent times. So always get hosting from a company which offers chat or phone support.

Always get hosting from a original company not from resellers.

Who are you hosting with now? The site you have linked seems to be just be comparisons.

to me shopaserver.com is best in all aspects. price and performance is the big difference. basic hosting starts from $2.5 month

i’m using cpanel hosting control panel with the unique links hosting company, it’s nice and cheap with almost all features enabled therefore i;m using this local hosting service. hosting service of big companies are expensive for me.

That was an interesting read. My hosting service isn’t even in the top 10 but I am pretty happy with their service at the moment. Makes me wonder if i should change and try something else but that just seems like too much of a hassle.

Thanks for the link. Hopefully this is a site that goes with honest reviews. Many sites allow hosts to “pay” for positive reviews, which I think is a bit deceiving.

Im currently using Hostgator, although im quite satisfied with the service so far, im still having a hard time adding extra domain names to my hosting package.

If i was to change hosting i wil check out web hosting geeks.
