Hallo Chris,
Thanks this is very useful as I’m thinking about changing my theme at http://whatawebsite.org/ . I’ve just started looking into this and , as someone fairly new to blogging, not exactly sure how easy it is to change themes for an existing blog ( i.e hours of set-up time, tweaks etc).
Can anyone tell how long this would usually take?

if you have purchased theme, it will be provided as zip format. After that Just go to admin area and then search for “appearances” in left navigation. Click on it. Find the option ” themes” after that “add new” . Then a page will appear. Select option “Upload” and then locate the file from your computer. After uploading just click ” Install” . aansa, I agree with what you are saying. It is a goo idea to try and customise your theme so that you stand out from the rest and have some that people will remember and associate with you. Having the technical know how to customise a theme is something a lot of people may not have but you could get someone to do it for you for a small fee.
