I started online as a web designer and the goals was to make money because I had just quit my day job because my boss was getting divorced and working there had become a nightmare.

So my goal from day one was to make money online.

I did well with web design but saw the potential in having my own money making web sites and went in that direction.

I didn’t do so well with the whole marketing thing and had a lot to learn, still do as a matter of fact.

I guess I kind of stumbled into making money but it wasn’t my intelligence that did it. It was because I stopped trying and just started blogging about my fly fishing hobby.

After my traffic was up to about 300 unique visitors I started putting in advertising and a bit of affiliate marketing and started earning.

That way of doing things seemed to work well for my first blog so I started one on gardening and did the same thing.

I am only new to your blog but I like it already and have you in my news feed reader, Bloglines.
