I think I live a relatively simple life. Everything I currently own can fit inside a small van, and I’ve done this purposely. I sold or donated books I’ve read and didn’t need anymore. I’ve got rid of old clothes. And I’ve naturally always hated having “stuff” that serves no purpose, so I don’t have many possessions.

It can be a challenge sometimes, especially around my birthday when people want to buy me “stuff”. I tell them they don’t need to — just come spend some time with me! Let’s have a party.

You made a good point here. Simple life is something that I always feel what I would be in the future but as I grow older I realized it’s not as simple as saying the word simple…
