Here I want to warn new bloggers & site owners to avoid spending much money for SEO. Newbies spending more money in article submissions & directory submissions. I bet it won’t work. Even if you submit your blog article in thousand article & directory sites, you won’t see more than 2 or 3 google backlinks. Google hates the artificial done SEO.

I prefer to do some basics things in my all blogs for SEO purpose. It is enough for Search engines.

1. Choose h1 tag for your post title in single posts.
2. Choose best keywords and put them as post title.
3. post url should be having post title not numbers.
4. Present good content.
5. Get quality comments.
6. ping your new posts. So quickly Search engines get it.
7. Interact with other bloggers, often praise their good steps, in return they will write about you in their blog. Now you got backlink.

SEO is definitely a very essential process, but what it is said that you should be steady, patient and regular in your SEO activity and it should always be done side by side of your actual content building work. I have seen some blogs which have built there page rank to 4 by building links but have 10 to 12 or at max 50 posts. But if you are in serious blogging, you should be able to cash your SEO effort, so again the fact that content is king comes in picture. So I go by slow and steady SEO, rather than a company building some rapid SEO link juices.
