If you ask me whether I can write something creatively, my answer had probably be a big YES, but writing is not anyone’s cup of tea, you might be good at English and have Knowledge of things but unless you have the power of writing something passionately you cannot be called as a Writer. Today, with increasing popularity of blogs and blogging business there is suddenly increase in demand for young writers, make a point I wrote young writers coz’ its them who can write about the current situations or modern perspective relating to something. Of course, in some fields experience does count, so older people are needed to write their experiences or whatever research they might have done.

Writing a Blog Post for the first time?Blogging is purely a business and in business its just exchange of services, it’s a give and take relationship. There are people who are in this business for 5 years now and making huge money while there are yet some who have just started off. The profits might not be pouring in now but I am sure 2 years down the line, you would be at top positions if you follow some specific rules on writing a blog posts for your networks. Even if you are not a gifted writer, you can create that passion in you, you can start writing slowly about your thoughts and then unfolding your creativity in to your writings. Blogs Business is all about the content, as I have been mentioning time and again that Content is the King, make sure you write some ultimate blog posts by which people will like listening to you or gain knowledge from you. No one is perfect, not even myself, we know this fact but at least we can try our best to get near to something perfect? Isn’t it? Today, I am more than happy to be here on this platform where I have although not large but decent number of readers reading my blogs regularly, I am here to guide you, to a perfect road to SUCCESS!

  1. Forget your old writing habits – this especially, because lots of time it so happens, people start writing their blogs as if writing for some term paper. This is going to be something which would be read by people from all over the globe so make sure you write what is attractive and pleasing, no one wants to hear boring lessons of high schools.
  2. As they say, Ignorance is Bliss, it helps you while on your path to success, forget your mindset developed in schools. Present age, you should be writing about the current perspective and what people think and should be doing, etc. Ignore what you learnt in the past and move ahead with what is currently required.
  3. Know your topic – many a times it so happens, people make N number of arrangements to start off with their first blog but suddenly they realize they haven’t yet decided on what their blog would be all about. It’s very necessary to know the base of what you are going to write, there would be different queries, suggestions, questions and answers to be given to what people will ask you on your blog and you cannot surely ignore their comments. The best way to get your blog going is by networking, you can network well with people when you are confident of your topics and thus the interaction starts.
  4. Create an attractive title – people are just not going to come to your blog reading, you have to attract or impress them through blogging topics. You have the best of content and everything is set to rock but it doesn’t make a point if you can’t attract your readers to read your content and that can happen only through impressive titles of the blogs.
  5. There is lots of material available on the internet that tells you how to select topics for your content, there are some famous authors giving their views relating to the topics you should go for and also writers helping you pick up a topic so make good research before you head out on your very first blog.
  6. Get your readers addicted – I have been always a believer that “Books are your best friends” and till present day I stick by my books whenever I am on a travel, and why not, books are the only source, they will never leave you. Make the first impression, the best one in front of your readers through your topics or highlighting important content, this will let them keep coming back to you wanting for some more. It all depends on what topics you write, writing skills, your knowledge base and the passion at which you are raring to go. There are some things which needs to be given due attention here to please your audience – 1) start a conversation with them, 2) make them feel important in the first statement, 3) let them know that they are lucky to read your blog, etc. such few things when kept in mind will lead you to big success.
  7. Get into details of your experiences – one thing I have realized in my business of blogging is, when you write with an open mind, there is nothing you want to hide. Let your readers truly know who you are and how are you enjoying your experiences as a blogger. People like to read about the stories that relates to an individual’s life, so wake up and get your blogs to the top most position by getting into details and discussing minute details personally.
  8. Give interesting endings – by this I don’t want to tell you to summarize your blog at the end, there are a few procedures to close your blogs as I had mentioned earlier too, end your blogs with open ended questions that will encourage your readers to put comments or suggestions or their experiences/perceptions, etc. your readers should not feel being left out, make them very much part of your blog by asking them questions which will personally relate to them, chances are you might get more than expected response because everyone wants to get heard and speak about their feelings.
  9. Make final changes – I know well how it feels writing an essay or a story, do you remember the days you finished your essay in high school and later checked it for any grammatical errors or conjunction errors. The most important of your blogging language is the spelling and grammar, if you fail in this then you stand no chance being liked by people. There were times, when I didn’t had time, proof-reading my blogs and as a result I was criticized for my English, so I advice you to proof-read them and check for errors, if any. You might well want to change the whole statement itself or write an interesting episode, so don’t waste time it will hardly take 2 minutes to do a final check on your content.
  10. Conclude – everybody is born with an innate quality, which we ourselves might not know, unless you head out to that path and you realize, yes! This is my arena. Likewise, one person’s thinking cannot be matched with others nor can we change someone’s perception about something so best you can do is, write creatively keeping everybody’s point of view and think logically rather than emotionally.

Lots been said and done, different people will have different methods of writing their blogs, I don’t make a compulsion on you to follow mine, but these were my experiences and I realized them too late and I don’t want you to go through same consequences so give your best shot at first go and conquer the race!

Good one, Chris! When taslking about attractive titles we must always factor in the SEO component too, so make sure your keywords are in your titles, so both humans and search engine spiders like them….
