Hi everyone, this article is meant for people who are just starting out trying to make money on the internet, or for people who have tried and would just like a few more ideas. Basically the biggest thing to understand when trying to earn extra income online is that there are a lot of scams out there– but you probably already know that.
If you can distinguish between the scams and the legitimate opportunities, you should be ok– and to be honest, if you use your common sense you should be just fine. Anyway, here are a few ideas that I have used or heard about to make money from home online.
1. Taking surveys
This is a legitimate, honest way to make money online. There’s not much to it, all you have to do is take surveys through websites that will pay you to do so. Unfortunately, often you will only make a couple bucks per survey and they will often take you upwards of 20 minutes to complete. Worth it, If you’ve got extra time on your hands then yes!
2. Selling your stuff
Got some extra junk laying around that you’ll never use, Put it up on eBay and sell it to someone who can! Depending on what it is you’re selling, you can really cash in on this.
Fiverr.com is a site that allows people to sell basic services for $5. For example, there are people who offer to make video reviews for products, or even do something as simple as send a tweet to their followers. Think about it: if you make $5 for sending one tweet, and do that four times a day, that’s a pretty decent profit! There are other similar sites out there that work just as well as Fiverr, and you can pretty much sell any skill or (legal) service you want.
4. Internet Marketing
This is the one that I am most familiar with since I have been doing it for over a year now. It is also probably the toughest to break into and master. I’ve been doing it for a long time and still haven’t mastered it yet, but you can make some money. Basically what you do is go to a website like clickbank.com and find some products that you’re interested in. Then all you have to do is promote the products on your website, blog, youtube video, etc. Every time someone clicks on your unique link and goes to the product page to buy, you earn a portion of the sale (often 75%). This can be tricky, however, because you need to connect with people who are actively seeking a particular product. That is the most difficult part, although once you do that and get the traffic you need you can really start to make good money. The best part is that once you get it set up, you never have to worry about it– you can make money while you sleep.
I put a link below to a good program that explains the basics of internet marketing and will get you going if you’re interested in trying your hand at it. It will require work but that work can pay dividends if you do it right.
Well that’s it, hopefully this list has been informative. Please feel free to leave me a comment if you have any questions, thanks for reading!
